  ایک بار ایک خوبصورت  جنگل میں ایک شیر اور ایک  بھیڑیا رہتے تھے۔ شیر ہر روز  بھیڑیا کو دیکھتا اور اسے  کھانے کے لئے تیار رہتا تھا۔  بھیڑیا خوفزدہ تھی اور ہر  روز شیر کو دیکھتے ہی بھاگ  جاتی تھی۔ ایک دن بھیڑیا نے ایک  گھونگھا کا جھوٹا رونا رونا  شروع کیا اور کہنے لگی کہ  شیر نے اسکے بچوں کو کھا  لیا ہے۔ شیر نے اسکی باتوں  پر یقین کر لیا اور اب اسے  نہیں دیکھتا تھا۔ بھیڑیا نے  اپنے منصوبے میں کامیابی  حاصل کرلی اور اب وہ  پرامن جنگل میں رہتی تھی۔ ایک دن ایک شکاری نے بھیڑیا  کو دیکھ لیا اور اسے پکڑ لیا۔  جب شیر نے یہ دیکھا تو وہ  بہت دکھی ہوا۔ اب وہ اپنے  غلطی کو سمجھ چکا تھا۔  وہ شکاری کی پیروی کرتے  ہوئے اپنی دوستی بھول گیا  تھا۔ اس کہانی کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ  آپ کسی کی باتوں پر یقین  نہ کریں جب تک کہ آپ ان  کی حقیقت کو جان نہ لیں۔
